Personalized products are made specifically for you, which means the details matter. This guide explains what to check before ordering, when proofs are provided, and when changes can still be made.

Before You Place Your Order

Please review every personalization detail before submitting your order, including names, dates, addresses, GPS coordinates, capitalization, spelling, numbers, and punctuation.

We generally use the information exactly as it is submitted, although minor formatting adjustments may be made when needed to fit the selected design.

When a Proof Is Provided

A proof is provided only when the product listing states that one is included or required. For those products, proofs are generally emailed within 1–3 business days after we receive the order and all required personalization information.

Proofs are sent to the email address used at checkout. Please check your spam or promotions folder if you do not see it. Production does not begin on proof-required products until the proof has been approved.

Reviewing and Approving Your Proof

Please review the entire proof carefully, including all wording, spelling, dates, coordinates, layout, and design placement. Request any needed corrections before approving it.

Approving a proof authorizes us to begin production. Errors that were visible in an approved proof are not considered production defects.

Changes and Cancellations

Contact us as quickly as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We will make reasonable efforts to help when design work or production has not yet begun.

Once design work, proof preparation, or production has started, a cancellation or change may no longer be possible. Changes requested after proof approval or after production begins may require an additional charge or a replacement order.

Production and Shipping

Production time varies by product and begins only after we have received all required information and, when applicable, proof approval. The estimate shown on the product page or during checkout should be used as the primary guide.

Carrier transit time is separate from production time. Tracking information is emailed when an order ships. Products made or fulfilled through different processes may arrive in separate packages.

Natural Materials and Printed Color

Wood and slate are natural materials. Grain, knots, texture, color, shape, and edge characteristics will vary from piece to piece. These variations are part of the material and are not considered defects.

Colors shown on a phone, tablet, or computer monitor can also differ slightly from the finished colors printed on aluminum, canvas, slate, or wood.

Damage, Defects, or an Incorrect Item

Please contact us within 3 calendar days of delivery if your item arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you approved or ordered.

Include clear photographs of the product, packaging, shipping label, and any visible package damage. Keep all packaging until the issue has been resolved. When the problem resulted from production, fulfillment, or shipping damage, we will make it right at no additional charge.
